Transcripts from all prior academic institutions attended are required. Please upload a PDF copy of transcripts from the institution at which you are currently enrolled and/or from any institution from which you have received or will receive a degree. Each transcript must be submitted as one document when uploaded. Official paper transcripts will be required upon admittance and acceptance of the offer of admission.

Recommendation Letter:
Be prepared to submit contact information for TWO (2) referees only. Inform your referees of your plans in advance and that the University of Toronto, School of Graduate Studies, will be contacting them by email. Further information on references is listed below.
Plan of Study:
Plan of Study (a short interdisciplinary research project is a required component of this program - submit 1 page indicating what topic you are considering writing about and why)
Writing Sample:
Sample of Writing (must demonstrate the applicant's ability to engage in and generate substantive thought and research). Examples of acceptable samples include:
introduction, first chapter and conclusion of an LLM thesis (or a portion of it, if it is still in progress) with endnotes/citations
a publication in a journal with endnotes/citations
paper that satisfied a writing requirement for a course, which is based on the applicant's own research with endnotes/citations
