Effective Spring 2015, Michigan State University requires all incoming ADMITTED students pursuing degrees or who have earned degrees from universities in China to submit a verification report (English version) through the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) for their final bachelor degree transcripts (大学成绩单) and bachelor degree (本科学位证书)
Personal Statement:
Your academic and personal statements should explain your interest in graduate study, your particular research interests, and how those interests fit the faculty at Michigan State. They should also explain why you believe you can make a distinctive professional and scholarly contribution to the field. Provide evidence of leadership, extracurricular, and life experiences that would help in a diverse educational community. Finally, please include relevant personal history that has shaped your interests and outlook, including evidence of overcoming social, economic, or personal obstacles.
Recommendation Letter:
3 letters of recommendation. Once your online application has been submitted, you will be directed to a website to enter your recommenders’ names and email addresses. They will receive emails with links to submit their letters.
